Simone Scannapieco, founder of AIPERURANIUM STUDIO, is an accomplished researcher with over 15 years of experience in international publications across various domains. He is specialized in the analysis and scientific development of belief and preference revision in Defeasible Logic, with a strong foundation in abstract semantics applied to multiple fields, including default logics, Defeasible Logic, non monotonic reasoning, legal reasoning, semantic argumentation, preference management, and multi-agent systems.Over the past decade, as a Senior Researcher and Technical Developer, Simone has expanded his expertise into Artificial Intelligence, with a particular focus on Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. His research and development efforts have led to specialization in key AI fields, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Explainable AI, and Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KRR). In addition, he is recently exploring AI ethics, fairness, and bias mitigation strategies, ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI-driven solutions in industry.His multidisciplinary approach enabled him to apply AI and semantic methodologies across a wide range of application contexts that spanned from digital forensics, legal tech and automated compliance checking to business document automation, Industry 4.0, collaborative robotics, smart energy management and optimization, and IoT-driven automation.He is highly team-oriented, excelling in collaborative environments while also possessing a strong aptitude for independent and autonomous research when required. His ability to bridge the gap between academia and industry allows me to develop AI solutions that are both theoretically sound and practically impactful.
